Job Description
We are looking for a Vice President, Late Development Team Lead in the Oncology division at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As a key figure in our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to drive late-stage drug development programs toward approval, ensuring alignment with the Target Product Profile.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams in defining and executing product strategies from proof of concept to approval.
- Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and ensure regulatory compliance for submissions.
- Mentor team members, foster team collaboration, and drive performance optimization.
- Collaborate with functional heads to align on development strategies and resource allocation.
- Participate in governance reviews and escalate risks and issues as needed.
- Engage in external collaborations and strategic projects, contributing to disease area assessments.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive product success.
- Contribute to the enhancement of cross-functional team structures and tools.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
- Proven track record in leading late-stage development programs and balancing innovation with risk management.
- Experience in oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead matrix teams, collaborations, and alliances effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic vision, and cross-cultural management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
