Job Description

Join Boeing as a 737 Interiors Certification Engineer in Renton, WA. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for the certification of interior payload systems. This dynamic position involves collaborating with various engineering teams, regulators, and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and document interior payload system certification requirements.
  • Validate and verify systems and components to meet regulatory standards.
  • Develop new design processes to enhance development quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with design engineers to ensure FAA compliance.
  • Potential involvement as an FAA designee for interior crashworthiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, design criteria, and release processes.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.
