1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the Aldi team. This part-time role involves efficiently selecting, receiving, and relocating stock to fulfill store orders. As a warehouse worker, you will play a key role in maintaining warehouse appearance standards, inventory counts, and effective communication with peers and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, collaboration, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
