787 Aircraft Assembler Mechanic (Structures/Electrical/Systems) (Level B) (Variable Shift)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Assembler Mechanic (Level B) to join our team at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. This position, based in North Charleston, South Carolina, offers the opportunity to work on various airplane programs on a variable shift. As an Aircraft Assembly Mechanic B, you will utilize your technical skills to complete tasks such as installing parts and assemblies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain necessary certifications.
• Use computer software for production tasks and interpret technical instructions and drawings.
• Install various parts and assemblies using a range of tools and equipment.
• Operate mechanical lifts and handle wire harness installation and fiber optic tasks.
• Adhere to safety standards and inspect work quality for compliance.

Requirements

• Ability to work variable shifts and follow detailed instructions.
• Experience using software applications for internet navigation and computer tasks.
• Basic aviation experience and familiarity with safety protocols preferred.
• High physical agility and capability to handle high-impact tools and chemicals.
