Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing essential care, support, and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and participation in community activities.
• Support participants in achieving their developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and create a safe and nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure the well-being and happiness of participants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions.
