Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections
- Verify load and secure properly
- Follow route plan and meet delivery requirements
- Complete store cleanouts and return items as contracted
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with regulations
- Accurately report hours of service using ELD
- Document and report any equipment defects
