Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck/trailer assignment, and instructions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections as per DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload products safely and check load securement
- Follow route plan, meet delivery requirements, and maintain cargo security
- Complete and verify all required paperwork and comply with hours of service regulations
- Report any issues affecting the route plan and document any concerns with equipment
