Job Description
The CDL A Truck Driver at Albertsons Companies, Inc. plays a crucial role in the delivery process by ensuring pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle, proper equipment operation, safe loading/unloading practices, and on-time deliveries while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment, and instructions for the route.
- Conduct pre-trip, inter trip, and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Couple the tractor and trailer, inspect the fifth wheel plate, release handle, and locking jaws.
- Follow route plan, meet delivery requirements, and communicate any issues affecting the route.
- Accurately report hours of service in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations using an electronic logging device (ELD).
