Job Description
The CDL Driver at Albertsons Companies, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for performing pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle, loading and unloading products, maintaining DOT compliance, and communicating effectively with customers and vendors. You will also be responsible for securing cargo, completing required paperwork, and ensuring accurate reporting of hours of service.

Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck and trailer assignment, and instructions for the route.
- Conduct pre-trip, inter trip, and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Couple the tractor and trailer, inspect the fifth wheel plate, and release handle.
- Follow route plan, complete store cleanouts, and ensure all cargo is secured throughout the delivery route.
- Accurately report hours of service using an electronic logging device (ELD).
