Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the Company Truck Driver include performing pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and proper operation of the equipment. Responsibilities also involve reviewing paperwork, checking orders, delivering and unloading products, and operating the vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations. Maintaining professional communication with customers and vendors is essential for on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork and instructions
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections
- Verify load and load destination
- Couple tractor and trailer, inspect the fifth wheel plate
- Scale load and adjust as needed
- Follow route plan, meet delivery requirements
- Complete store cleanouts as contracted
- Ensure secure cargo delivery
- Complete and verify all required paperwork
- Accurately report hours of service in compliance with regulations
- Report to work at designated times
- Document and report any defects or concerns with equipment
