Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the Company Truck Driver include performing pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and proper operation of equipment. Delivery responsibilities involve checking paperwork accuracy, order completeness, and unloading products using tractor trailers and related equipment. Operating vehicles safely in compliance with DOT regulations is crucial, along with timely deliveries and professional communication with customers and vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment, and route instructions.
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Verify load, destination, and proper load securement.
- Follow route plan, meet delivery/pick-up requirements for each store, and complete store cleanouts as needed.
- Secure cargo, complete and verify all necessary paperwork, and report hours of service accurately.
- Report to work on time, well-rested, and ready to drive.
