Job Description
Sevita is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As part of REM Community Services, a division of Sevita, you will provide vital care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, supporting daily activities, and fostering meaningful relationships with those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with developmental goals, including budgeting, dental hygiene, and nutrition.
- Assist participants in community engagement and recreational activities.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of individuals with varied needs, including autism and related conditions.
- Promote independence and quality of life for all participants.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance for certain positions.
- Key Skills: Compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible.
