Job Description
We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, ensuring uptime and performance metrics are met.
Responsibilities
- Support and update equipment listings for maximum uptime.
- Define and secure critical spares to support production equipment uptime.
- Maintain appropriate levels of spares and track all purchase orders efficiently.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance requirements and machine checks for equipment health.
- Assist in the development of facility project and maintenance budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, creation of macros, and VBA tools.
- Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment components.
- Ability to read OEM drawings, BOM, and Electrical Schematics.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Composites Manufacturing.
- Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation and creation.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques (5S, TPM, etc.).
- Inventory management experience and CAD design skills.
