Job Description
Veritas Steel LLC, a leader in the bridge fabrication industry, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team in Wausau. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing a variety of equipment, including CNC machinery, welding equipment, and hydraulic tools. Your technical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring high-quality maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical & electronic CNC equipment, welding equipment, and hydraulic machinery.
- Manage facility building and yard maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify safe and efficient solutions.
- Coordinate with maintenance crew and other departments to prioritize and schedule repair projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Requirements
- Experience with CNC machines, welding equipment, and hydraulic tools.
- Strong technical skills in electronic controls, PLC programming, and CNC machinery.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Environment
- Work in a large warehouse or outdoors, exposed to various elements.
- Use safety gear such as protective eyewear, ear protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots.
- Maintain a safe work area and follow established safety protocols.
Compensation
Yearly Salary: $25.6K - $31.6K
