Job Description
We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join POAH Communities at Hawthorne Place Apartments in Independence, MO. As a key member of our team, you will ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff by maintaining the property and performing necessary repairs. Your role will involve preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and addressing any issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Insure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate and complete make-ready repairs.
- Keep grounds clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to pertinent laws and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
- High School diploma or GED required, HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
