Job Description
Join our team at El Monte Sagrado as a Maintenance Technician and enjoy an exceptional work environment with unmatched benefits in the industry. This full-time hourly position offers a starting salary of $14.50-$17 DOE plus benefits, based in Taos, NM at the El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, team members, and external partners.
- Respond to work orders and perform routine facilities maintenance.
- Inspect and maintain facility equipment as per the preventative maintenance plan.
- Conduct general maintenance activities including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and landscaping.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Perform repairs on various structures and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of facilities maintenance or construction experience preferred.
- Hospitality experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle physical requirements of the job.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Current driver's license and insurance maintenance required.
