Mid-Level Software Engineer (Direct Attack Weapons)

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our Direct Attack Weapons software group at Boeing in St. Charles, MO. This role will involve supporting the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons program by developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex software solutions for precision guided munition weapon systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team, contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment, and work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle using Ada, C#, and Python.
• Test software and assist with system level testing.
• Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in related technical field.
• Experience in software development using Object Oriented principles and embedded real-time software.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Ada, Python, or C#.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and in a professional team setting.
