Job Description

We are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer specializing in Direct Attack Weapons to join our team at Boeing. In this role, you will be part of the Direct Attack Weapons software group in St. Charles, MO, supporting the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons program. You will play a crucial role in developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex software solutions for precision guided munition weapon systems. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse engineering team to develop Operational Flight Program software solutions.
  • Contribute in all phases of software development in an Agile environment using Ada, C#, and Python.
  • Test software, support system level testing, troubleshoot defects, and analyze problem reports.
  • Develop leadership skills, work directly with US Air Force and Navy customers, and gain valuable experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Object-Oriented software development and embedded real-time software development.
  • Experience with Ada, Python, C#, Git, Agile development, and professional team collaboration.
  • Ability to obtain US Security Clearance and complete a technical assessment.
