Job Description

Join Boeing's Global Services organization as a Mid-Level Strength Engineer in Berkeley, MO. This position involves supporting the Mechanical Engineering Design team in developing ground support equipment for military aircraft platforms. You will provide strength guidance for new designs, perform structural analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure air vehicle interfaces meet requirements. This hybrid role offers a mix of office and remote work with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support proposal preparation and new business development.
  • Provide strength input for mechanical ground support equipment.
  • Coordinate with air vehicle team for equipment-to-aircraft interfaces.
  • Perform structural assessments and derive loads using engineering tools.
  • Make design recommendations based on analysis and safety factors.
  • Document results and support design reviews.
  • Visit suppliers for testing and evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in stress and structural analysis.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis and engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting and travel domestically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
