Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a mobile mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs.
• Repair suspension, brake systems, and components.
• Manage tire maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets as required.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Must own tools and be DOT certified.

Preferred:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
