Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a critical member of our operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers across various markets. If you are efficient, safety-conscious, and quality-driven, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct major and minor repairs.
• Address air and electrical system problems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs.
• Repair suspension, brake systems, and components.
• Manage tire maintenance.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets when necessary.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ownership of mechanic tools.
• DOT certification.

Preferred:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
