In this role, you will lead the development and testing of complex software systems for the MQ-25 Mission Systems Software team in Hazelwood, MO. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on the world's first carrier-based unmanned aircraft, the MQ-25A Stingray, and play a critical role in integrating cutting-edge avionics software for communication, control, and sensor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and documentation of software architectures, interfaces, and designs
• Integrate software components to create a fully functional system
• Develop software verification plans and test procedures to ensure system requirements are met
• Provide technical leadership for software projects and supplier management activities
• Lead research and development projects, mentor team members, and ensure software quality and conformance to standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in embedded real-time software development
• Proficiency in C++, software development tools, and technical leadership
• Experience with CI/CD, software testing, and Agile methodologies
• Preferred: Experience with C#, mission management software, and Atlassian tool chain
