Packaging Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Shearer's. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running, changing over, and ensuring the efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines during the night shift. This role requires dedication, dependability, and a willingness to learn, as you will be following precise recipes, performing product quality tests, and monitoring equipment variables. In addition to operating packaging equipment, you will need to troubleshoot issues, demonstrate leadership, and have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging machines.
• Follow precise recipes and procedures.
• Monitor equipment variables and perform quality tests.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and automation equipment issues.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork.
• Manage time effectively and plan tasks accordingly.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and team lift 75lbs.
• Basic computer skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime.
