Packaging Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Shearer's. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running and maintaining packaging machines to ensure efficiency and quality in our snack production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee the efficiency of 3-5 packaging machines.
• Communicate changes and plans to team members and supervision.
• Perform set up and operation of packaging equipment following precise procedures.
• Monitor and adjust variables to maintain product quality.
• Perform product quality tests and data collection.

Requirements

• Dedication, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and automation equipment.
• Basic computer skills for production operations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60lbs and team lift 75 lbs.
