Job Description
The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Real Time Software Engineer to join our program in Berkeley, MO. In this role, you will be involved in developing Mission Systems software for the Bombers & Fighters Division within Boeing Defense, Space & Security. You will work closely with teams in Phantom Works and Autonomous Systems, focusing on open architecture design, modern software development tools, and process improvements.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, and designs.
- Integrate software components into functional systems.
- Lead software projects and research initiatives.
- Ensure product and process compliance with industry standards and project plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
- Experience with embedded real-time software development.
- Knowledge of software systems design, development, and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mission systems software on aircraft platforms.
- Proficiency in software architecture tools like Cameo.
- Familiarity with Open Architecture standards and DevSecOps.
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience.
