Position Summary:

LEO Events is seeking a Talent Relations Manager to work with the SVP of Events, who is the lead Talent Buyer. This position involves working with speakers, artists, and contracts for private corporate events and public festivals. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and organized to ensure the success of programs for clients and LEO Events. This role offers significant growth potential and a chance to define a career in talent buying with a successful agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Research client brand, budget, and needs to assess suitable talent options for proposals.
  • Write, create, and edit talent proposals.
  • Organize and update show files, talent fees, and contact lists.
  • Assist in talent deal execution by contacting agents for artist availability and pricing.
  • Collaborate with account and creative teams on talent concepts.
  • Manage client and artist contracts, deposits, and deliverables.
  • Act as the talent liaison and point of contact for artist coordination.
  • Support talent management onsite during client programs.
  • Research industry trends and new talent.
  • Reconcile talent programs including production, artist hospitality, and box office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, music business, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in talent agency, promoter, touring, or artist relations.

  • Understanding of industry trends and client needs for speakers and artists.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced industry.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for live music and artist relations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat, and basic software.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Travel requirements based on program needs. Occasional nights and weekends may be necessary.
