1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join Aldi's team. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling and organizing merchandise within the warehouse to fulfill store orders and maintain warehouse standards. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with warehouse leadership.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide input to management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds and operating powered industrial equipment.
