Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and delivers exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
  • Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
  • Safe equipment handling abilities (hand jack, scrubber, baler).
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Detail-oriented with superb organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma preferred; retail experience a plus.
