Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a integral part of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers and working collaboratively with the Aldi team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment including hand jack and floor scrubber
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
