Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting store operations, managing schedules, and leading the team to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments to maintain the store's position.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when needed.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Prior management experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
