Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. This position involves merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
- Handle equipment safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register
- Capable of operating store equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
