Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the management team.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of the cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
