Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your focus on exceptional customer service will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures to safeguard documents and data.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
