Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi to join our team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company procedures and maintain document security
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
- Interpretation and application of company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
