Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, including merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy, provide feedback on products, and address any issues
- Follow cash policies, adhere to company procedures, and uphold security measures
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following company policies and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
