Job Description:
As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a key role in store operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain clean and organized merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products and inventory management
- Participate in inventory counts according to company guidelines
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies and maintain document confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
