Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for the responsibilities of managing a store effectively. Your role will involve supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff schedules, and implementing operational strategies while fostering team development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead daily store activities to deliver superior customer service.
- Understand and communicate the company's core values, fostering teamwork among employees.
- Manage staffing levels, conduct hiring, and establish job expectations for direct reports.
- Monitor store performance against budget targets and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Oversee product merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
