Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by assisting with merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall efficiency of the store operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate core competencies and professional skills in alignment with ALDI's standards.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
