Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. guidelines in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Experience or education equivalent.
