Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in alignment with ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper stocking of shelves.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers and collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Provide feedback to management on product issues and contribute to inventory processes.
  • Follow cash handling procedures, comply with company policies, and uphold security measures.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and move merchandise, perform various physical tasks, and comply with work demands.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Proficiency in customer service and operating cash registers.
  • Capability to use store equipment and follow cleaning standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
