Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
