Store Operations Assistant
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will directly impact the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating effectively with our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and potential issues.
- Take part in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register, equipment maintenance, and cleaning.
- Ability to interpret and apply company guidelines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience desirable.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
