Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store maintains its high standards by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and capable of providing excellent customer service.
• Operate a cash register accurately and handle equipment safely.
• Perform cleaning tasks according to company standards.
• Communicate effectively, work in a team, and follow instructions diligently.
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
